CAMPAIGN:
Cotton Wool Kids Can't Swim

Regulations
that often vary from pool to pool and council to council are increasingly
taking a hyper-cautious cotton wool approach to adults
taking their children swimming and are refusing entry to parents
who turn up with their children because of health and safety.
The question
of child safety in swimming pools and of how many children an adult
takes swimming should be something that is negotiated by experienced
professionals and parents themselves. Only by preventing the over
bureaucratised approach to child safety can we encourage a more sensible
and public spirited approach and get more children swimming. Read

the obsession with 'child safety' is not working - it is neither making
parents feel secure about their children nor creating a positive environment
for socialising young people. Read more.
CAMPAIGN:
Free Play

of today. Free Play has stuck as a slogan for our work in giving children
and young people the opportunity to experience equal relationships
with their peers and the opportunity to develop meaningful life experience.
